Aris Perez was born in Batangas, Philippines, as the eldest of four in a devout Catholic family. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he embraced the Reformed faith, recognizing that salvation is by grace alone through Christ alone and acknowledging his need for repentance and redemption.
A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Aris began his career in the Middle East before migrating to Australia nearly 19 years ago. In his early adulthood, he and his wife encountered Pentecostalism and built their life together in Australia, raising two daughters. Over the years, he has witnessed God’s grace in his family, career, and spiritual journey.
Today, Aris serves as a deacon at Berean Bible Church Queensland. His greatest joy is worshiping with his family under the sound of the Gospel and growing together in faith as trophies of God’s grace.
